CrossFit Group Classes
We combine core conditioning, weights, cardio and body weight exercises in short, intense workouts to generate more results in less time. We focus on form and mechanics first, then add load and intensity after our coaches see consistent good movement. All workouts will be scaled to the individual, allowing all fitness levels and abilities to benefit from our strength and conditioning training.
Foundations for Beginners
The Foundations for Beginners Course is the required first month for all of our members who are new to CrossFit. We offer Group and Private. It consists of four separate instructional classes, PLUS unlimited attendance to our regular CrossFit classes during that month. In these classes, you will learn the proper form and technique of all of the lifts and basic movements you’ll perform in CrossFit, as well as non-movement subjects such as CrossFit philosophy, recovery, goal setting, and nutrition to prepare you for success in regular classes. Your coach will also help you set baselines for weightlifting movements, identify movement deficiencies, and teach you the appropriate scaling options to safely get you started on your CrossFit journey.
CrossFit Kids
CrossFit Kids is geared for kids ages 5-13 of all abilities; whether you need off-season training for sports or just want to keep your child active and healthy. We use a combination of skill practice, workouts, and games to build strength and conditioning. Classes include elements of weight lifting, speed and agility training, cardio, gymnastics, body weight movements, and more.
Barbell Club
BARBELL CLUB is a specialty program of Blackbird CrossFit that will focus on improving the Olympic lifts, whether you are looking to compete on the platform or a beginner just looking to improve. Both the snatch and the clean and jerk bring speed, strength, power, coordination, flexibility, and balance to your overall training while increasing explosive strength and output.
Personal Training
Working with a personal trainer is one of the fastest, easiest, and most successful ways to reach your goals and improve your overall fitness and health. We offer traditional personal training with a fitness program designed for the individual. And we offer one-on-one CrossFit Training for those who are not yet ready to enter into regular classes or current CrossFitters who have skill-specific goals.
Yoga
Athlete Yoga uses a combination of deep stretching and low impact movement to assist in recovery, injury prevention, and mobility improvement. Tuesdays at 6pm. Instructor Claire Stone is a 200hr-CRT and a CrossFit Level 1 trainer.
Birthday Parties
Our CrossFit Kids birthday parties are a blast! Two hours of non-stop activities– a fun workout, games, Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course, and more. Email [email protected] for more information.
