We have the most experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive coaches in Carroll County, dedicated to meeting you where you are and safely guiding you toward your goals. We are wholeheartedly committed to providing the highest quality coaching, the best training facility, and the most supportive and inspiring atmosphere for our athletes. Our goal is to help you train for, and understand, real fitness. Fitness and health are a lifelong journey, and in CrossFit there is finally a straightforward training method that can and will develop elite fitness for anyone.

FAQs

WHAT IS YOUR CROSSFIT CLASS SCHEDULE?

  • Monday – Friday: 5:30am, 6:30am, 8:00am, 9:30am, 12:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, 6:00pm, 7:00pm (no 7:00pm on Fridays)
  • Saturday: Open Gym time 8:00-10:00am, optional workout begins at 9:15am, so arrive by 8:55am to get warmed up.

WHAT MEMBERSHIPS DO YOU OFFER?

At Blackbird CrossFit we offer a variety of memberships to meet your scheduling needs. Complete information about our membership offerings can be found on our website.

Unlimited CrossFit Memberships

  • 12 Month contract – $165/month
  • 6 Month contract – $175/month
  • Month-to-Month – $185/month

3x/Week CrossFit Memberships

  • 12 Month contract – $130/month
  • 6 Month contract – $140/month
  • Month-to-Month – $150/month

Punch Card Memberships

  • 5 Class Punch Card – $75
  • 7 week expiration date from purchase

Membership discounts (10%) available on the 12 Month Unlimited CrossFit contract only for Active Duty Military and First Responders. We also offer a family discount if both/all are on the 12 Month Unlimited contract. The 1st family member is full price, 2+ immediate family members receive 10% off.

WHAT IS YOUR PROGRAMMING LIKE?

We use PRVN Affiliate programming which combines thoughtful strength-cycles with high-intensity functional fitness workouts. PRVN programming provides accessible scaling levels for each workout, including travel wods, a competitor tract, additional accessory work, and mobility for each class. PRVN provides 7 days worth of programming each week.

You’ll have access to our Performance Tracking App, Wodify, with a weekly view of the programming starting on Sunday of each week.

DO YOU OFFER OPEN GYM MEMBERSHIPS?

At Blackbird CrossFit, we prioritize a community-focused, coach-led approach to fitness. While we don’t offer Open Gym-only memberships, our regular memberships provide a comprehensive experience that includes:

  • Expert Coaching: Benefit from personalized instruction, feedback, and motivation from our experienced coaches.
  • Inclusive Programming: Our PRVN-based workouts are designed to be accessible and effective for all fitness levels, including those at the competitive level.
  • Flexibility: With 9 CrossFit class times per day we make it easy to fit into your schedule.
  • Community: Connect with like-minded individuals and build a supportive network.
  • Additional Training: Our optional ‘Accessory Work’ program allows you to supplement your regular workouts with targeted skill development or conditioning.

Our class-based memberships provide a more supportive and structured environment, fostering a strong sense of community and ensuring that you receive expert coaching and guidance throughout your fitness journey. This level of support is difficult to replicate in an Open Gym setting.

Our dedicated Saturday Open Gym is a great way to supplement your regular training and connect with other members of our community.

Our Unlimited memberships do include Open Gym time during the week. This is available on a one-off basis, if our second room is not being used by another program. Appropriate uses of Open Gym during the week are to do skill work, make up a lift or workout, practice for a competition, or if you cannot make it to a regular class that day.

WHAT ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS DO YOU OFFER?

FOUNDATIONS FOR BEGINNERS
The Foundations Course is the required 1st month for all of our members who are new to CrossFit. It consists of 4 separate instructional classes, unlimited attendance to our regular CrossFit classes and yoga all month, our Healthy Habits Accountability Group with a Blackbird Nutrition Coach, and pre/post InBody body composition scans.

BLACKBIRD NUTRITION
We offer 1-on-1 nutrition coaching with a customized plan to help you achieve your goals.

POWERLIFTING/OLY BARBELL CLUB

  • Thursdays at 6:00am and 6:00pm
  • Powerlifting a 4 week cycle begins at the start of each month. 4 Class Punch Card= $55
  • Olympic Lifting 5 Class Punch Card= $65, 3 month expiration date from purchase.

YOGA

  • Tuesdays at 6:00pm
  • Included with Unlimited memberships. 5 Class Punch Cards ($40) available for other members and non-members.

CROSSFIT KIDS

  • Our CrossFit Kids program will be taking a hiatus from October-December 2024 while Coach Mary is on maternity leave.
  • Middle School Strength & Conditioning: Mondays and/or Wednesdays at 5:00pm
  • JV (K-2nd grades): Tuesdays at 5:00pm
  • Varsity (3-5th grades): Thursdays at 5:00pm

CHILDCARE

  • We offer supervised child care during Saturday Open Gym from 9-10am. Our Kids Club room is available during the week for older children who do not require supervision.
  • $5 drop-in fee per child per visit. Scan QR Code on door to register your child each visit.

DO YOU OFFER A FREE TRIAL?

Yes, we do! To ensure a safe and effective experience, we require a brief introductory meeting for all new members. This meeting allows us to get to know you, understand your fitness goals, address any potential health concerns, and answer any questions you may have. (If you’re an experienced CrossFitter, we can talk via phone or email.)
Once we’ve had a chance to chat, we’ll offer you a 2-Class Free Trial to experience our classes firsthand and see if Blackbird CrossFit is the right fit for you.

WHAT ARE YOUR TERMINATION & HOLD POLICIES?

We have some policies relating to the cancellation of contracts and membership holds that are important for you to know about:

  • We require 7 days notice for cancellation. You can submit your Membership Termination Request using the linked form.
  • Cancellation of membership prior to the expiration of any specified commitment period requires an early termination fee equal to the standard non-discounted month-to-month rate times the months you used, i.e. you pay the difference between the membership you were on vs the one you should have been on. (If you have a 1 year contract at $165/month and you terminate after one month, you will owe $185-165= $20. If you have a one year contract and terminate after 6 months, you should’ve been on a 6 month contract $175-$165=$10×6=$60.)
  • All membership cancellation requests must be routed through the Membership Cancellation form on our website in order to be processed.
  • If you would like to put your membership on hold for up to 3 months instead of canceling, you can submit a Membership Hold Request.
    Memberships can be placed on hold for up to 3 months each calendar year.
