Shoulder mobility is essential to good movement in every day life and in effective training programs. The shoulder should be the most mobile joint in the body. When there are limitations in movement, athletes may end up compensating by using their lower back rather than the upper back. As CrosssFitters, having strong, stable, and flexible shoulders are key to performance in overhead lifts. So, if you’re having trouble getting into proper positioning in overheat squats or full extension with your head through in a press, you will not want to miss this workshop!
Dr. Chip will teach us mobility exercises to work on flexibility and stability in the shoulders and mid-back. This hands-on workshop is open to the public, so bring a friend and let’s get mobile!
